101 words
I'm in the car, he's driving. I tried to hide my shaking. He fierce green eyes stare ahead, focused. I pull on my curly brown hair, I tap my polished nails. We're on our way. We're eloping. We have to drive across the border to get it done today. The 3 hours drive seems like days. We're at the courthouse, I can't seem to open the door. Everything seems as though I'm watching it from accross the room. I see us sign papers, pay money, talk to a man. I hear him say, "man and wife," wow, I just got married.
